The Funding Studio provides donor-centered philanthropic advising for individuals, families, and organizations seeking a more thoughtful and well-structured approach to giving. We help clients clarify their philanthropic priorities, develop giving strategies, identify aligned nonprofit and project partners, and steward contributions with care.
We also offer guidance around more advanced charitable giving strategies, including donor-advised funds, gifts of stock, gifts of art, and planned giving. Our role is to help clients navigate these opportunities with greater clarity so their giving is both meaningful and well aligned.
For those interested in creating a philanthropic initiative of their own, we can also provide a pathway to begin that work without the complexity of immediately forming a separate 501(c)(3). Through fiscal sponsorship, it may be possible to establish and grow a charitable effort within an existing nonprofit structure, offering a more accessible and well-supported way to activate a philanthropic vision.
Our work is grounded in relationship building, strategic guidance, and thoughtful stewardship, helping philanthropy feel more personal, more connected, and more effective.
Collectors and stewards of significant artwork have long played a vital role in shaping cultural legacy. At The Funding Studio, we extend this tradition by creating a pathway for artwork to support the next generation of artists, filmmakers, and creative innovators.
Through our Art Legacy Program, donated works are thoughtfully stewarded as charitable assets. These works may be held, exhibited, loaned, or strategically activated to generate funding that directly supports creative projects and initiatives.
We are grateful to those who choose to place their artwork in service of future storytelling and artistic expression.
The Funding Studio is a highly selective, curatorial organization. Each work is reviewed with care and consideration to ensure alignment with our mission and the long-term stewardship of the piece.

For gifts of artwork, donors are responsible for obtaining a qualified independent appraisal in accordance with IRS requirements.
The Funding Studio does not provide appraisals for any purpose but can share a list of preferred appraisal professionals upon request.
Artwork donated to The Funding Studio becomes the property of the organization and is stewarded in alignment with our charitable mission.

All decisions regarding the care, placement, or potential sale of artwork are guided by mission alignment and long-term impact.
In many cases, donors may elect to have the artwork placed on loan back to their residence or collection for a defined period of time, subject to agreed-upon care and insurance requirements.
