Your Impact

Be part of something extraordinary. We use self-care, sisterhood, and historical education to honor the legacy of Black, Brown, Asian, and Indigenous foremothers — many of whom have been overlooked or erased from dominant historical narratives. The mission of Brave Sis Project is to help repair and sustain our ability to address systemic biases and barriers to genuine allyship, kindness, collaboration through offering books, digital content, online courses, workshops, curated events, and coaching.

As we navigate shifts in how we communicate and envision action, it is clear that old methods are insufficient. Our programs and offerings are designed to dismantle barriers by acknowledging overlapping forms of discrimination and challenging both hidden and overt limiting narratives.

Brave Sis Project drives awareness and brave space generation to ensure more people feel seen, valued, and empowered.

Your partnership will help us expand our reach, deepen programming, and empower lasting, equitable change.

Every donation keeps us moving towards the tomorrow we believe in.

Plus your contribution is tax-deductible, allowing you to make an impact while receiving the tax benefit in return.

Together, we can address systemic biases and barriers to genuine allyship and collaboration.

About Brave Sis Project

Rozella Kennedy

Rozella Kennedy

Rozella Kennedy is a dynamic and accomplished leader with a diverse background in strategy, marketing, communications, resource development, and organizational leadership. A creator, thought leader, author, facilitator, she is the founder of Brave Sis Project (BSP) which advances intersectional equity through innovative educational products, leadership development, and community-building rooted in the celebration of Black, Brown, Asian & Indigenous women’s history and lived experience. Rozie works with individuals, groups, and organizations to enhance collaboration, leadership acumen, personal allyship, and intercultural intelligence. She develops and implements solutions that help individuals, groups, and clients strengthen their ability to identify and mitigate bias, blind spots, and barriers in navigating differences in race, culture, ethnicity, class — and many other factors of identity and lived experience. Convening brave, collaborative spaces across difference has been called her ministry.

She is also the author of the Nautilus award-winning book Our Brave Foremothers: Celebrating 100 Black, Brown, Asian, and Indigenous Women who Changed the Course of History, with a new book is in progress: World Brave Sis: 100 Dream-Time Dialogues With Women Who Led the Way. In 2024, she also launched an online course: “Allies, Advocates, Co-Conspirators, Friends, Sisters: a Playbook for Leading, Learning, and Liberation” a curriculum for exploring the complexities and possibilities of building authentic collaborations and relationships across differences and “isms,” incorporating ample space for practicing self-reflection and growth, and is producing a new curriculum entitled “Class Class: Considering and Deconstructing Myths about Race, Class, Wealth, and Worth in America.”
